Types of fine-grained graphite: isostatic graphite and die-molded graphite.

Isostatic Graphite

 

Features: Fine-grained isostatic pressing graphite is a kind of fine-grained isotropic graphite produced through cold isostatic pressing technology. It boasts excellent electrical and thermal conductivity, high-temperature strength, low thermal expansion coefficient, self-lubrication, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and ease of processing.

 

Applications

 

Isostatic pressing graphite is widely used in various fields such as monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon, electric spark machining, metal continuous casting, vacuum furnaces, sintering, precious metal smelting, glass production, medical devices, and chemical engineering. Specific applications include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • In metallurgy, casting, and heat treatment fields - vacuum furnaces, inert atmosphere furnace heating elements, conductive electrodes and connectors, material loading trays, muffles, thermal field linings and structural components, crucibles, tooling, and molds; continuous casting molds for non-ferrous metals such as copper and aluminum; hot pressing molds, etc.
  • In sintering fields - sintering molds for carbide tools, diamond tools, and electronic components; glassware firing molds; metal sealing fixtures, etc.
  • In electrical and electrochemical fields - electrodes for electric spark machining; bipolar plates for fuel cells; electrolytic anodes and cathodes, etc.
  • In photovoltaic and semiconductor fields - card locks, card seats, and preheaters for polycrystalline silicon reduction furnaces; thermal field components for polycrystalline silicon ingot furnaces; PECVD graphite boats and components; heating elements, insulation cylinders, diversion cylinders, and crucible components for CZ straight-pull monocrystalline silicon furnaces; graphite crucibles, heating elements, and covers for PVT SiC crystal growth furnaces.
  • In fiber optic fields - furnace core tubes, heating elements, central tubes, muffles, and bases, etc.
