SHJ CARBON At SEMICON China 2026: Meet Us At Booth E6-6469-2
Mar 10, 2026
Introduction: We're Exhibiting at SEMICON China 2026
Here's some news we're excited to share. SHJ CARBON will exhibit at SEMICON China 2026, and we'd love to see you there.
The show runs March 25-27 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). You'll find us at Booth E6-6469-2 in Hall E6.
SEMICON China brings together the entire semiconductor industry. More than 1,000 exhibitors from across the globe gather here each year. Engineers, procurement professionals, and executives come to see new technology, discuss challenges, and find solutions.
We'll be there ready to talk about high-purity graphite solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.

Why SEMICON China Matters
If you work in semiconductors, you already know SEMICON China. It's the largest event of its kind in the world.
The 2026 edition covers nine exhibition halls at SNIEC. You'll find dedicated pavilions for IC manufacturing, compound semiconductors, materials, equipment, and more.
This is where the industry connects. Equipment manufacturers meet material suppliers. Wafer fabs explore new processes. Engineers solve problems face-to-face.
For SHJ CARBON, it's the perfect opportunity to meet customers and discuss how graphite materials improve semiconductor production.

Graphite's Critical Role in Semiconductor Manufacturing
You might wonder why a graphite company exhibits at SEMICON China. The answer is simple: modern chip making depends on high-purity graphite at nearly every step.
- Crystal growth furnaces rely on graphite components. When you pull silicon crystals using the Czochralski method, graphite crucibles and heaters create the stable thermal environment you need. Without high-quality graphite, crystal quality suffers.
- Silicon carbide (SiC) production pushes graphite even harder. Physical vapor transport (PVT) furnaces operate above 2000°C. Graphite crucibles, susceptors, and insulation components must maintain structural integrity at these extreme temperatures while providing consistent thermal fields.
- Epitaxy equipment uses graphite parts to hold and heat wafers during layer deposition. MOCVD systems demand absolute purity and dimensional stability through thousands of thermal cycles.
- Ion implantation and etching tools also rely on graphite components. The material's combination of electrical conductivity, thermal stability, and chemical resistance makes it irreplaceable.

Not all graphite performs the same way. Isostatic graphite-made by applying equal pressure from all directions during manufacturing-offers uniform properties throughout. This isotropy means consistent thermal expansion, predictable mechanical strength, and reliable performance in critical applications.
For semiconductor work, purity matters enormously. High-grade isostatic graphite achieves carbon content above 99.99% with ash levels below 100 ppm. Some applications require even lower levels-down to 5 ppm. This ultra-low impurity profile prevents contamination during wafer processing and crystal growth.

What You'll Find at SHJ CARBON's Booth E6-6469-2
Stop by Booth E6-6469-2 in Hall E6. We'll have samples, technical literature, and most importantly-people who know graphite.
Here's what we can discuss:

High-Purity Isostatic Graphite
We offer isostatic graphite grades with purity matching global leaders. Carbon content above 99.99%. Ash levels below 100 ppm. Consistent properties in every direction. These materials perform in the most demanding semiconductor applications.
Graphite Heaters and Susceptors
Thermal uniformity directly impacts crystal quality. Our graphite heaters and susceptors deliver consistent temperature distribution across the entire hot zone. The isotropic structure ensures predictable thermal expansion and long service life.
Thermal Field Components for Crystal Growth
Whether you're growing silicon, SiC, or other compound semiconductors, proper thermal management determines success. Our thermal field components-including crucibles, insulation shields, and support structures-create stable environments for consistent crystal quality.
Graphite Parts for Epitaxy Equipment
Epitaxial growth requires extreme temperature control and absolute purity. SHJ CARBON provides precision-machined graphite components for MOCVD and other epitaxy systems. Our materials resist degradation and maintain dimensional stability through countless thermal cycles.
Custom Solutions
Have a unique requirement? We do custom work. Our engineers will review your specs and recommend the right graphite grade and configuration. Not the most expensive option-the one that delivers optimal performance for your specific process.
Our Experience in Graphite
SHJ CARBON has worked with graphite and carbon materials for more than 25 years.
We started in 2001. In 2006, we invested in a graphite electrode factory and partnered with Tokai Carbon, one of the world's leading carbon companies. That partnership grew. Today we manage Tokai's specialty carbon business for the Chinese market.

We've since built relationships with other global leaders. Kyocera named us their semiconductor division distributor for precision ceramics in China. Temnest appointed us exclusive distributor for polishing and grinding materials. Dow and DuPont work with us on advanced materials for semiconductor applications.
This network means we access the best raw materials and processing technologies. We combine that with local support and technical expertise.

Semiconductor Applications We Serve
Our graphite solutions support semiconductor manufacturing across multiple processes:
Single Crystal Silicon Growth
Most silicon wafers start as single crystals pulled from molten silicon. The Czochralski process relies on graphite components-crucibles, heaters, insulation shields, and lift mechanisms. These parts must maintain structural integrity above 1400°C while resisting silicon vapor attack.
Our high-density graphite grades provide the thermal stability and purity required for defect-free crystal growth. The isotropic structure ensures uniform heat distribution, reducing thermal stress in growing crystals.
Silicon Carbide Crystal Growth
SiC presents bigger challenges. PVT furnaces operate above 2000°C. Graphite crucibles and insulation directly influence crystal quality.
Research shows that graphite structure affects carbon transport, temperature gradients, and polytype stability. Some growers use porous graphite inserts to maintain 4H-SiC rather than unwanted polytypes.
SHJ CARBON understands these complexities. We work with SiC growers to select graphite grades that balance purity, density, and carbon transport characteristics for their specific process.
MOCVD and Epitaxial Growth
MOCVD systems use graphite susceptors to hold wafers during epitaxial growth. These susceptors must maintain flatness through thousands of thermal cycles while resisting coating buildup.
Our graphite susceptors feature tight dimensional tolerances and smooth surface finishes. The isotropic structure prevents warping, while high purity minimizes contamination during sensitive layer deposition.
Ion Implantation and Etching
Beyond crystal growth, graphite components appear throughout wafer processing. Ion implanters use graphite parts to handle high-energy beams. Etching chambers rely on graphite for chemical resistance and electrical properties.
For these applications, SHJ CARBON provides custom-machined components meeting exact specifications.

Looking Ahead: Graphite Trends in Semiconductors
The semiconductor industry keeps evolving. Several trends shape where graphite materials head next.
Third-generation semiconductors continue gaining ground in power devices, RF applications, and electric vehicles. SiC and GaN require even higher purity graphite and more sophisticated thermal field designs. Industry projections suggest graphite demand from this sector will grow substantially through 2032.
8-inch SiC transition pushes toward larger substrates. This shift demands bigger graphite components with tighter property uniformity. Crucibles and susceptors for 200mm SiC require exceptional dimensional stability.
Higher purity standards emerge as devices shrink. We continue advancing our purification capabilities to meet future specifications.
Supply chain diversification remains a priority. Many semiconductor manufacturers now seek qualified alternative sources for critical materials. SHJ CARBON provides that option-reliable quality with responsive local support.
