Production Process of Calcined Petroleum Coke
Sep 02, 2022
Whether it is wrought petroleum coke used in the production of graphitized cathode carbon blocks or calcined petroleum coke used in the production of prebaked anode carbon blocks, although they have different requirements for raw materials, their production processes are the same That is, without adding any other raw materials, the forged coke obtained by calcination can effectively improve the physical properties of the green coke, such as electrical conductivity and density.
There are two commonly used production processes for calcined petroleum coke, rotary kiln production process and retort furnace production process. Most foreign petrochemical enterprises use the rotary kiln production process to calcine petroleum coke, while domestic use the retort furnace production process to calcine petroleum coke.
Its production process is relatively simple, mainly controlling the calcining time and calcining temperature, and can process various types of petroleum coke, but cannot process the fuel with high volatility. Can be made using a retort furnace.
